The UD53 resolver option module is specifically designed for use within Control Techniques' Unidrive series, particularly with the Unidrive Classic. This compact module ensures reliable operation in environments with relative humidity levels reaching up to 95% without any condensation effects. Its ambient storage temperature ranges from -40 to 50 °C, making it suitable for a range of harsh conditions.

In terms of electrical specifications, the UD53 module is versatile, supporting resolver input impedances greater than 85Ω at a frequency of 6 kHz, and offers two options for turns ratios: 2:1 or 3:1. The module accommodates both closed-loop vector and closed-loop servo operation modes, enhancing its flexibility for different applications.

Connection to the module is established via a 16-way screw-terminal block, facilitating a straightforward installation process. The excitable voltage options of either 4 VRMS or 6 VRMS allow compatibility with various resolver types. The maximum voltage applied to the SIN and COS terminals is specified at ±4V for low settings and ±12V for high settings.

Moreover, the UD53 is equipped with an output frequency of 6 kHz and provides a programmable output voltage of 4V RMS or 6V RMS. Also, it can support a maximum current of 200mA at terminal 53, making it a reliable choice for diverse industrial applications.
