The S811+N66N3S soft starter is an S811+ series non-combination soft starter manufactured by Eaton. Its specifications are 200 to 600 Volts AC voltage, 50 Hertz frequency, 3 poles, 66 Amps of current, and 24 Volts DC control voltage. Its power rating is 30 kilowatts at 380 to 480 Volts AC, and its Horsepower ratings are 15 Horsepower at 200 to 208 Volts AC, 20 Horsepower at 230 to 240 Volts AC, 50 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC, and 60 horsepower at 575 to 690 Volts AC. This soft starter offers 450% overload protection for 30 seconds. Its height, width, and depth are 2.66 x 7.38 x 6.47 inches. The S811+N66N3S soft starter is equipped with enhanced functionalities for seamlessly controlling motor acceleration and deceleration. The ramp-to-stop time of the soft stop option on this module is longer than the coast-to-stop time, allowing for a smoother transition process when starting and stopping motors. This capability eliminates the “water-hammer” effect and prevents damage to pipes, valves, or pumps.

The easy-to-use digital interface module (DIM) of the S811+N66N3S soft starter allows the operators to read and modify system parameters and motor values without using external controllers. The S811+N66N3S soft starter has 4 inputs and 2 relay outputs. It supports the C441 communication card options, including the Modbus RTU and DeviceNet cards, and the communication module can be used independently for standalone applications. Level sensing and edge sensing are also available on this soft starter.
