S811+T18V3S

The S811+T18V3S soft starter is an S811+ premium series non-combination soft starter manufactured by Eaton. It is rated at 56 to 180 Amps and 200 to 690 Volts AC, with 3-phase operation. Its motor wiring configuration parameter options are inline configuration and inside-the-delta configuration. The inline configuration option is suitable for 3-lead, 6-lead, or 12-lead motors whereas the inside-the-delta configuration option requires 6-lead or 12-lead motors. The start and stop modes on this soft starter provide adjustable options for achieving smooth acceleration and deceleration in 3-phase induction motors. The S811+T18V3S soft starter is programmable through its detachable digital interface module, a handheld human-machine interface module, or over the network. Four programmable terminals on this soft starter enable the users to expand its functionality with options such as a secondary start ramp profile that is independent of the primary ramp start profile, an externally triggered trip or warning, and analog inputs.

The 3 poles of the S811+T18V3S soft starter are monitored in real-time and the built-in fault warning functionality can be configured to trigger a warning instead of tripping when a fault condition is detected. Level sensing and edge sensing are built into the S811+T18V3S soft starter to initiate a start under all power conditions and to provide an automatic restart after all the faults have been reset. The 24 Volts DC control voltage of this module improves user and equipment safety. It has door-mounting and device-mounting support, allowing operators to configure, commission, monitor, or troubleshoot the system at the electrical panel without opening the enclosure door. The recommended operating temperature of this soft starter is -30 to 50 degrees Celsius.
