The Eaton Corporation S811+T24P3S non-combination soft starter has been designed to control and modify an induction motor activity such as acceleration, deceleration, and start-up in a smooth and calm way so the motor is not affected by sudden variations in speed that could cause machine and motor wear and stress. The Eaton Corporation S811+T24P3S non-combination soft starter operates with a voltage range that goes from 200 to 600 Volts AC. This starter also reaches a current rating of 240 Amps. In order to have proper and smooth operations, this soft starter must be attached to a compatible motor. The motor cables that are used with the S811+T24P3S soft starter must be able to withstand the heat that is dissipated from the starter and the motor. The motor cables should also be kept as short as possible in order to avoid power losses and have proper functioning.

The Eaton Corporation S811+T24P3S non-combination soft starter has a premium option which includes a level/edge sensing feature, an inline and inside-the-delta wiring system, an extended ramp time, and a pump control feature. The environment where the soft starter and the motor that it controls is going to be installed needs to be clean and it needs to have proper ventilation methods that help to avoid overheating. Overheating can cause serious issues during operations, including the shutdown of several pieces of equipment due to overheating. Surfaces that come into contact with the starter and motor are also affected by high temperatures and may become very hot.
