This soft starter belongs to the Eaton S811 series that is part of the S801 series but has a better HMI and communication capabilities than most S801 soft starters. Its enhanced functionalities are settable through its digital interface module (DIM). Communication between the soft starter and other devices on networks such as the DeviceNet or Ethernet networks can be established through the Eaton Quick Connect port.
