The S811T24N3S soft starter is an open soft starter manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This module belongs to the Eaton Intelligent Technology S811 series of advanced motor speed controllers that have a fast microprocessor. This whole soft starter series includes high-power devices (rated at up to 1000 Amps). The S811T24N3S soft starter can deliver up to 240 Amps of current and its power ratings are 75 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC and 50 Hertz, 110 kilowatts at 380 Volts AC and 50 Hertz, and 200 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC and 60 Hertz. The device is equipped with a digital interface module that has an LCD to provide the users with quality information on current device status. The users can read out the following parameters on the LCD: the 3-phase line currents and voltages, thermal memory value, current as a percentage of the FLA, pole temperature, DC control voltage, device temperature, starts count, 3-phase pole currents, average pole current, and the average line current. To scroll through the navigation menu and change parameters, 3 soft keys can be used.
