Eaton Cutler-Hammer AMPGARD

Eaton's AMPGARD series includes several motor starter or motor controller models rated for medium-voltage applications. Medium-voltage AMPGARD motor starters can start medium-voltage motors rated at up to 8000 Horsepower. They support full-voltage and reduced-voltage starting options, and they can stop and protect motors in addition to starting them. Additionally, different medium-voltage AMPGARD motor starter models are available for starting different types of squirrel-cage motors, synchronous motors, and two-speed motors. The medium-voltage starters are compatible with SC9000 EP adjustable frequency drives rated at up to 4160 Volts and 6000 Horsepower.
