The D50 PLC series is an Eaton Cutler-Hammer PLC series which has been specially designed for small control applications. The PLCs come in different versions with 1 to 56 points. They support high-speed count or analog capabilities and advanced features, including startup self-diagnostics, and error checking. They have high efficiency and they are cost-effective PLCs. They have modular designs and can fit even in small spaces. They are flexible in terms of I/O because they are available with a wide variety of digital and analog modules. The D50 PLCs are available in a wide range of current and voltage ratings. They are available in different power ratings and they come in a frequency range of 47 to 63 Hertz. These PLCs have a current consumption rating of 0.6 Amps maximum and they support up to 8 digital inputs. The PLCs can program up to 2000 control steps. Up to 6 digital output, 8 analog outputs, and 8 analog inputs are supported by the D50 PLC series.
The D50 PLC series has safety features that monitor the processors, control systems, and the I/O systems of each PLC and every status update is stored internally to provide a quick and easy way to troubleshoot system and programming errors. This series comes with PLCS with large program memory units that are best suited for the most demanding applications. These PLCs come with EEPROM for permanent data storage. The D50 PLCs are equipped with LED status indicators, I/O expansion ports, mode switches, and RS-485 communication ports. The mode switch can be set to the RUN and the PROG state. The LED indicator turns green when the CPU is in RUN mode and red when the CPU has an error in these PLCs. The installation area should be free from corrosive gas, dust, and dirt.
