The IC670FBI001 I/O Base is a GE Fanuc I/O base for the GE Field Control series. The base unit is a connector style base that supports hot insertion and that is intended for products with the numbers IC670C, IC670CH, and IC670CHS in their catalog numbers. The IC670FBI001 Field Control Base Unit features a terminal block with barrier terminals that have keying slots that allow for the proper installation of the modules. The I/O terminal block has a hot-insertion feature for the installation of modules and for providing a secure method of module installation. The IC670FBI001 Base has a projecting alignment slot which allows for the easy installation of modules and which does not affect other devices connected in the system. Even though installation of modules will not require the usage of any special tools, the users must be aware that proper alignment and secured cable connections are obligatory for the system to work properly.
