The IC670MDL642 Field Control module is designed and made by GE Fanuc and it includes positive and negative inputs. The users can choose an external logic power source for the module's 16 inputs, and this external power supply is combined with inputs and the assigned terminal block for I/O. When the main switch is closed, the IC670MDL642 Field Control module is sending a signal that has a true value. The positive inputs direct the current to the power bus that is the common or negative current type. This means that the negative inputs receive the current from the power bus that is the common or positive current type. The IC670MDL642 Field Control module operates on input voltage range of 0 to 150 Volts DC and it has a user input current of 2.5 milliamps per point at the rated voltage.
