The IC660BBA020 is a Genius I/O block. This module is specifically a combination analog I/O module that features Four (4) analog input channels that accommodates 0–10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0–5 VDC, 4–20 mA (or 1–5 VDC) input signals and Two (2) analog output channels supporting 0–10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0–5 VDC, 4–20 mA (or 1–5 VDC). It has integral converter circuitry with converter resolution of 12-bit resolution plus sign. This module is independently powered, with input voltage of 18-56 VDC with nominal supply of 24 VDC. It has an embedded support for Genius Bus protocol, allowing this module to exchange I/O data with Genius Bus masters over the network. Each channel has an update rate of every 4 ms and comes with software adjustable filter response of none, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, and 1024mS. Input filters are used to stabilize the received input signal, limiting fluctuation and a more usable readout. It is also provided with self-diagnostic capabilities, able to detect Underrange, Overrange, High Alarm and Low Alarm. It also has a configurable Open Wire Output setting, allowing signal to go Underrange and Overrange upon detection. The IC660BBA020’s typical accuracy is 0.2% of full scale and maximum of 0.5% of full scale. The IC660BBA020 is designed with an open type of enclosure therefore, must ne mounted inside an enclosure. The environment must be clear and without airborne contaminants and provided with an proper airflow. This module supports right side up or upside-down mounting. If used with multiple blocks, at least 2 inches clearance must be present in-between.

The IC660BBA020 Analog I/O Block is a GE Fanuc I/O block that comes with 4 input circuits, 2 output circuits, and 2 block versions. It offers 5 analog power ranges which are 0 to 10 Volts DC, -5 Volts DC to +5 Volts DC, -10 Volts DC to +10 Volts DC, 0 to 5 Volts DC, and 4 to 20 milliamps/1 to 5 Volts DC. The IC660BBA020 Analog I/O Block also provides independent scaling and fault reporting facilities for individual input and output channels. The typical thermal drift of the module at 25 degrees Celsius is 10 PPM per degree Celsius. The users can use any GE Fanuc IC66 handheld monitor with this GE I/O block module. It also offers advanced diagnostics facilities to generate fault messages. The IC660BBA020 Analog I/O Block can be used with a wide variety of input and output devices such as pushbuttons, relays, sensors, and industrial operator interfaces. In order to power up the module, a 24 or 48 Volts DC power supply can be used externally. The input circuits of the block have the responsibility to convert received voltage or current values into a 12-bit digital value. The scaling facilities can be used to convert the final value into engineering units. The output channels provide an analog voltage or current value based on the converted digital values that come from the CPU. The IC660BBA020 Analog I/O Block comes with 2 status indicating LEDs on its faceplate. Since it is an open piece of equipment, make sure to install the module inside a protective enclosure. The mounting area must be clean and free from corrosive elements. The power source should be connected to Terminals 6 and 7.
