The IC660ELD020 Electronics Assembly is a 24/48V DC source I/O block-compatible electronics assembly made by GE Fanuc. It is compatible for use with the IC660CBD020 Current Source I/O Block and its IC660TSD020 Terminal Assembly. This electronics assembly consists of the microprocessor unit of the I/O block. It has the responsibility to perform communication within the block and other computational tasks. The IC660ELD020 Electronics Assembly is designed in such a way that the users can easily plug in or remove the electronics assembly from the I/O block without interrupting any of the block configurations. The fault report byte and block diagnostic byte are reserved to report the EEPROM faults in the electronics assembly module.
The IC660ELD020 Electronics Assembly has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and it can tolerate 5 to 95% relative humidity. It has microprocessor-based circuitry that interfaces the I/O block with input and output devices. It helps to configure the block for redundancy. During installation, make sure to check the compatibility of the electronics assembly with the I/O block and the terminal assembly for proper operation. This electronics assembly can be replaced with a compatible version without removing the field wiring. Always remove the power form the block before replacing the module. In order to prevent injury, avoid touching the connector pins during the removal process. The IC660ELD020 Electronics Assembly can be easily removed by unscrewing the screws of the retainer at the bottom and top of the I/O block.
