The IC754VBL06CTD is a QuickPanel device that is manufactured by the GE Fanuc Automation, now, by Emerson Automation. This QuickPanel device may be generally referred to as Human Machine Interface (HMI), providing plant operators and process user to interact with the machine or process in real-time. It can be downloaded with a custom designed application developed using the Proficy Machine Edition software. The IC754VBL06CTD comes with a 6-inch colored screen, supporting 65,536 colors with resolution of 32- x 240 pixels. It is also installed with a Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCFL) non-replaceable backlight with half-life operation of 50,000 hours. Analog resistive touch sensitive cells are also installed along the display screen, allowing operators to directly interface with process objects through touch gestures. The touch cells are scattered both in X and Y axis, specifically, 320 cells on X-axis and 240 cells on Y-axis. The IC754VBL06CTD is installed with a Windows Compact Embedded (CE) operating system and utilizes an Intel XScale PXA255 microprocessor with clock speed of 300 MHz. integrated memory to the device includes 64 MB Flash Memory, 512KB SRAM, 64 MB DRAM, 512KB Boot loader. The integrated DRAM memory may be upgraded by installing up to a maximum of Four (4) modules with catalog number IC754ACC32MEM (32MB) and IC754ACC64MEM (64 MB). Up to 64 MB expansion is permitted to this device. For communication, the IC754VBL06CTD is provided with Two (2) RJ45 ports, used as Ethernet interface. It supports transmission speeds of 10/100 mbps and may be configured to communicate with controllers and act as download port as well. Aside from the ethernet interface, this device also has Two (2) serial interface ports.
