The General Electric IC754VGI06STD Quick Panel Full Color Terminal is an enhanced HMI device which provides users with an easy interface to their machines, and control flexibility in a wide range of applications, both for home use and factory floor needs. Designed with the Microsoft Windows CE.NET Operating System, the IC754VGI06STD offers integration of machine control and visualization in one compact package, and it comes preloaded with the Proficy Machine Edition software, a Windows-based real-time software which provides an integrated environment for programming the HMI, motion, and development of the machine. It has a 6-inch Passive Matrix Super-Twisted Nematic Color Display, with a 320 by 240-pixel display resolution, and it offers a Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCFL) backlight with 40,000 hours of rated half-life. The IC754VGI06STD provides inputs via its analog resistive touchscreen surface, with a 320 x 240 cells resolution, and it has a front panel bezel made of Valor 3706 material, and LED indicators which show operational status. It comes with a 300 MHz Intel XScale PXA255 processor, with the compact flash pre-installed with 32MB SDRAM and flash memory.

It has a self-refresh non-error correction memory expansion slot with 64MB maximum capacity, and it is designed with a single (Type 2) slot expansion slot. The IC754VGI06STD communicates via the RS-232 Serial communication port (Serial COM1) with a 300 bps - 115200 bps transmission rate, and it 1 RJ45 10/100 Base T Ethernet Port, with a maximum cable length of 30m.
