The IC755CSS12CDBCA is a QuickPanel+ operator terminal that is manufactured by Emerson Automation, formerly owned by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). This is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that is used in different industrial application such a process and machine automation. It provides visualization and control interface of the control system in a remote or central location of the factory floor. It contributes to a more efficient control of control system and increases the reaction time of machine users and process operators. The IC755CSS12CDBCA is provided with a 12.1-inch Standard TFT LCD display with resolution of 800 x 600 pixels in SVGA format. The provided input interface is a projected capacitive touchscreen and Two (2) point multi-touch operator interface that permit direct interaction with published runtime objects to control the integrated machine or process. The device’ processing capability is powered by an Intel Freescale i.MX535 processor with clock speed of 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8. The built-in memory available to this HMI is comprised of 1 GB DDR3 SDRAM; 512 MB SLC NAND ROM and 512 KB SRAM. The embedded communication ports include Two (2) Ethernet, One (1) RS232 UART and One (1) RS232 / RS45 communication ports. This HMI is powered by an external supply voltage of 24 VDC and input power of 12 Watts. The IC755CSS12CDBCA is pre-installed with a Windows Compact Embedded (CE) 7 Operating System (OS). This operating system provides a user-friendly and familiar configuration environment which supports some of Windows standard commands and features such as Command Prompt, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and SNTP Protocol.
