The GE Fanuc Emerson ST-5112 is a high-performance dual-channel counter optimized for use within RSTi PacSystem applications. Adaptable to support one or two input configurations, this module can measure counts effectively at rates reaching up to 100 KHz, allowing it to process rapid events. For applications employing Encoder 4x mode, the counting rate adjusts to a maximum of 50 KHz to accommodate specific requirements.

This counter features a 32-bit wide channel capacity, ensuring a broad range for count data. Input connections operate at 24V DC, making the device compatible with industry standards. The ST-5112 is designed with two outputs, which also function at 24V DC and can supply load currents of 0.5 Amps each.

Connectivity is managed through a spring clamp-type terminal block, simplifying installations and ensuring secure connections. To support its operations, the ST-5112 utilizes a maximum of 160 mA of internal power at 5V DC, maintaining efficient energy consumption while delivering robust performance.
