The IC694MDL350 is an AC output module from the PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform formerly by GE Intelligent Platforms now by Emerson Automation. This module is provided with Sixteen (16) individually isolated output channels that deliver an output voltage range of 74-265 VAC and a frequency range of 47-63 Hz. This module has a power consumption of 315 mA when all outputs are active, sourced from the 5VDC backplane supply. The maximum output current rating of the module is 2 A when operated at a temperature of 30 Degrees Celsius or 1 A at 60 Degree Celsius. The IC694MDL350 comes with field-side to logic side and group to group isolation ratings of isolation rating of 250 VAC, continuous, and 1500 VAC for 1 minute. Integrated diagnostic capability of this module includes reporting of a removed or disconnected terminal block. For termination of field devices, the IC694MDL350 is required to use either of the compatible removable terminal bases such as the Box-style with catalog number IC694TBB032, Extended Boxstyle with part number IC694TBB132, Spring-style with the order number of IC694TBS032, or Extended Springstyle with catalog number IC694TBS132. This module occupies a single slot of the RX3i backplane and must be installed along with an RX3i CPU with a firmware version of 3.50 or later. This module is not compatible with the Series 90-30 Platform. Individual status indicators are provided to this module. The LEDS are numbered that represent a particular module channel and also come with a “TB” LED that energizes when the terminal block is not detected by the module.
The GE Fanuc IC694MDL350 Output Module offers 16 isolated output points and it is available with a rated voltage of 120 to 240 Volts AC. This module has an effective and remarkable level of noise immunity that reduces the need for external snubbers to shield the outputs against noise from the electrical transients. The output loads can only be powered by an external AC power source. At the rear of the output module, there is a DIP switch for selecting the output mode such the as Hold Last State Mode or the Force Off Mode. The users must remove the IC694MDL350 Output Module from the backplane to configure the switch. This module can be used with terminal blocks such as the spring-style, box-style, extended spring-style, or extended box-style terminal blocks. The extended terminal block offers an additional protective casing that is necessary for field wiring to AC appliances. The GE Fanuc IC694MDL350 Output Module from the GE RX3i PacSystem series has labeled LEDs to display the on and off status of every output point. It also has a TB LED because the module can accommodate terminal blocks that are removable. If the TB LED turns green, it shows that a terminal block has been installed, and when the TB LED turns red, it shows that there is no terminal block present or that it has been disconnected. The red band at the top of the door card on the module means the module is a high-voltage output module. The IC694MDL350 Output Module has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and a storage temperature of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
