IC694MDL742

The IC694MDL742 module is an output module that has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This module is meant to operate within an RX3i PLC system and it can be installed in any slot in the PLC rack. This module provides 16 outputs that are divided into 2 groups of 8 outputs each and that operate with negative logic. The GE Fanuc Automation IC694MDL742 16-point output module includes 2 electronic short-circuit protection features, the first one can protect output points 1 to 8 points and the second protects output points 9 to 16. The mechanism of these 2 protective features is to detect short circuits and turn off the points that have experienced the short circuits to protect them against any further damage. Once they has detected a fault and turned off the points, they will activate the Fault LED.
