The IC695PSA040 is a GE Fanuc / Emerson Automation power supply module that is part of the PACSystem RX3i product family. This power supply has an output power rating of 40 Watts and provided with Three (3) output voltages such as +5.1 VDC output; +24VDC relay output that mat be used to power external circuitry and +3.3 VDC that is used internally by the RX3i system and attached modules to the backplane. This power supply is compatible for use with similar IC695 product family.

The IC695PSA040 is compatible with RX3i universal backplane. This power supply cannot be mixed with other RX3i power supplies residing in the same backplane. RX3i modules that is outside the output power capacity of the IC695PSA040 must be installed in expansion backplanes as the IC695PSA040 does not support increased capacity and redundancy.

The IC695PSA040 is operated by supplying nominal rated voltage of 120/240VAC or 125VDC with voltage ranges of 84-264 VAC or 100 to 300 VDC. It has an input power requirement 70 Watts and capable of withstanding 4 Amperes with maximum duration of 250 ms. The module’s output voltage is range is 19.2 VDC to 28.8 VDC for 24VDC nominal output; 5.0 VDC to 5.2 VDC for 5.1 VDC nominal output and 3.1 VDC to 3.5 VDC for nominal output of 3.3VDC while the output current is 0 -1.6 Amperes for 24VDC; 0 - 6 Amperes for 5.1 VDC and 0 - 9 Amperes for 3.3 VDC output.

The IC695PSA040 is equipped with Four (4) status LED indicators. These LED indicators are Power, P/S Fault, Over Temperature and Overload. It also has an ON/OFF switch, situated behind the hinged door of the power supply unit. The switch is used to enable or disable the power supply. This switch does not cut-off the incoming supply and it is provided with a projecting tab that helps prevent accidental turning ON/OFF the switch.

The GE Fanuc IC695PSA040 module is a power supply manufactured as part of the RX3i PACSystems series. It has a power rating of 120 Volts AC or 240 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC with a power consumption of 40 Watts. This GE Fanuc IC695PSA040 power supply can be used with a DC or AC input voltage source, with operating voltage range of 100 to 300 Volts DC or 85 to 264 Volts AC. This power supply comes with 3 outputs, including 3.3 Volts DC for internal use with modules from the same IC695 series. It also has an output voltage of 5.1 Volts DC and 24 Volts DC relay voltage which is used to power the circuits on the output relay modules.
