The IC694ACC310 is a series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platform accessory module. This module is technically called as a filler module, sometimes also referred as slot filler or dummy module. This component is mainly used to cover a vacant slot of a series 90-30 baseplate and protect the electronic circuitry from the damage due to exposure to dust, dirt, oil, water, chemical and other industrial elements. The IC694ACC310 occupies a single slot of the chassis. It supports removal and insertion under power as this filler module does not connect to the backplane as it does not carry contain any electronic circuitry however, in old installations that are regularly exposed to vibration and shock, careful insertion and removal should be observed. The IC694ACC310 can be installed in the local backplane where the Central Processing Unit (CPU) is installed; to an expansion backplane, a remote backplane or distributed I/O station along a Network interface Module (NIU). There is no limit to the number of installation instances of the IC694ACC310. It may be used as needed and as required by the control system. The IC694ACC310 physical dimensions is similar to fully functional modules however, the monitoring features and module I/O tagging is not available to this component as it does not come with LED status indicator and a module insert. To install the IC694ACC310 to a Series 90-30 baseplate, align the module directly on top of the vacant slot and along the edges of the adjacent module. Slightly push the module and press until the top and bottom latch attached to the baseplate.
The IC693ACC310 module is a filler module manufactured by GE Fanuc in Series 90-30. One notable thing about the IC693ACC310 filler module by GE Fanuc is that it is compatible with a wide range of PLCs or Programmable Logic Controllers which are in the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers product line. When using one of the PLCs in this product line, some of the I/O slots in the modules baseplates will be redundant in the controller’s applications and they will be left empty unless a filler module like the IC693ACC310 filler module is installed. The filler module prevents dust from entering the connectors at the CHS racks. It is essential to ensure that all the unused slots in the baseplates are filled during applications to prevent dust from entering the components, and they can be filled by active devices or modules or a blank filler module like the GE Fanuc IC693ACC310 filler module. The GE Fanuc Series 90-30 IC693ACC310 filler module is designed to be easy to uses, which means that technicians do not need a lot of technical knowledge to install it properly.

The IC693ACC310 occupies a single slot of the module.
No. It does not connect to the backplane electronically.
There is no limit to the number of instances. As long as there are vacant slots that needs protection, the IC693ACC310 may be installed.
The IC693ACC310 covers a single slot of the baseplate.
None. This module does not come with any electronic circuitry.
Yes. Since the IC693ACC310 does not contain any electronic circuitry, it can be installed with or without power to the backplane.
The IC693ACC310 is a Filler module that is part of the Series 90-30 PLC series of GE Fanuc. This is used to physically cover the electronic components of a vacant slot of a baseplate. It is compatible for installation in CPU, Expansion and Remote baseplates and comes with a single-slot width. It does not draw power from the backplane.
