* The GE Fanuc Emerson IC693MDL754 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement IC693MDL754 units instead of migration.
The IC693MDL754 output module is a 12 to 24 Volts DC and 0.75 Amps rated positive logic output module. The IC693MDL754 output module provides 32 outputs arranged in 2 isolated groups of 16 outputs, with each group having its own common. The module outputs are sourcing-type outputs which means that they supply current to the connected loads and the switch loads on the positive side. Each output can source a maximum current of 0.75 Amps. Each output point on the IC693MDL754 output module supports overcurrent and short-circuit protection. A fault is generated if an overcurrent or short-circuiting occurs and a fault signal is sent to the CPU. Additionall,y DIP switch configuration errors, loss of field-side power, and ESCP failure within any particular group will lead to the generation of a fault signal. Both output groups on the module can be used to drive separate loads.
The IC693MDL754 output module can be installed in a PAXSystem RX3i system or a Series 90-30 PLC. The power consumption for the module is 300 milliamps of current at 5 Volts DC bus voltage on the system backplane. At 24 Volts DC, there is no thermal derating. However, at 30 Volts DC, the outputs are derated at temperatures above 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The rated inrush current for the IC693MDL754 output module is 3 Amps without the ESCP trip. The typical steady-state overcurrent trip is 5 Amps per point. The working temperature range for the IC693MDL754 output module is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Unused IC693MDL754 modules should be stored in a location where the ambient temperature is maintained between -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. There are 2 DIP switches on the back side of the module. The DIP switch configuration must match the module’s software configuration.
