About IC200CHS111

The Versamax IC200CHS111 base is a relay-style interposing I/O terminal's main base. The IC200CHS111 base provides dry contacts that can switch currents of up to 8 Amps. The relays on the IC200CHS111 base are designed to be controlled with standard 24 Volts DC and 0.5 Amps rated Versamax output modules, including the IC200MDL740 and IC200MDL750 modules. Each relay on the IC200CHS111 base is individually fused and replaceable and comes with a status indicator. There are 2 versions of the relay-style interposing input/output terminals: the main base and the expansion base. The IC200CHS111 base is intended for use with points 1 to 16 of the 32-point IC200MDL750 module or with the 16-point IC200MDL740 module. The IC200CHS111 base has 50 box-style terminals for making power connections and for field wiring.

 

The IC200CHS111 base also has a J1 connector which connects to a cable from the IC200CHS003 connector-style carrier. The IC200CHS111 base also has a J2 connector that can be used to connect to the IC200CHS112 module base, which is the expansion base. An external power supply rated for 24 Volts DC is required for powering the relay coils on the IC200CHS111 base. Terminals A17 and A18 are used for connecting the external power supply. The user loads need an external power source. A field-replaceable relay is used in the manufacturing of the IC200CHS111 base and has the following specifications: 1 pole, rated loads of 9 Amps at 250 Volts AC, 8 Amps at 30 Volts DC, 6 Amps at 250 Volts AC, or 4 Amps at 30 Volts DC, a peak switching current of 8 Amps, a carry current at 8 Amps, and a minimum permissible load of 100 milliamps at 5 Volts DC.
