The IC200CHS121 Versamax terminal is a GE manufactured interposing fuse style terminal. It is designed with 16 channels. It is used to interface an I/O carrier module with the field wiring. The 16 channels present in the terminal are all accompanied with their own LED terminals. The LED for each channel illuminates when there is activity in the channel connection. The terminal is space saving and it is a cost effective industrial solution. It weighs around 1 pound and it comes with an open enclosure. It is fully compatible with the Versamax I/O modules. The IC200CHS121 terminal has 2 major components which are the base and the expansion base. The main base of the terminal is connected with the A terminal on the Versamax module.

The IC200CHS121 terminal comes with a connector that is attached to the cable from the I/O carrier and it is used for power connections. The terminal can be easily mounted by using the bracket on the rear side. For vibration resistance, the terminal should be installed using screws. The IC200CHS121 terminal is connected to the A side terminal on the connector of the Versamax module. There are connected wires present in the module that eliminates the need for an extra terminal block. A separate fuse is required for each terminal and the cable connector. The terminal should be properly grounded and disconnected from the mains during installation. The environmental temperature should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. There is terminal output derating if the environmental temperature rises above 60 degrees Celsius. The terminal should be kept away from EMC noise.
