About IC200MDD849

The IC200MDD849 discrete mixed I/O module belongs to the VersmMax PLC series and iit s produced by GE Fanuc Automation. This module combines a total of 16 input and output points with 8 positive logic type and sourcing type inputs that help to transfer the current from any connected devices to the 8 relay and common outputs. This module has Form A output relay types with silver contacts and a moving armature.  Every input point is connected to the ground return, while all the output points of this module are individually separated on an isolated channel. Also, the output points can tolerate a current of 2 Amps. However, this module does not support protection functionalities like the fuses, snubbers, and the Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV).

 

 The IC200MDD849 discrete I/O module draws its power from the 5 Volts backplane source with all the additional active I/O points drawing more power from the same backplane, and drawing up to 295 milliamps of maximum current. This module does not support thermal derating. It has an input voltage of 0 to 132 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz frequency, with a nominal voltage of 120 Volts. When an input is in the on state, the voltage ranges from 70 and 132 Volts AC and from 0 to 20 Volts AC when it is in the off state. The input current when the module is in the on state is 5 milliamps and it is a maximum of 2.5 milliamps when it is in the off state. The IC200MDD849 module has an output voltage range of 0 to 125 Volts DC, with a nominal voltage rating of 5 Volts DC, 24 Volts DC, or 125 Volts DC. While using the AC voltage, the module has an output voltage range of 0 to 265 Volts AC, with a nominal voltage of 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC.
