The GE Fanuc IC200MDL144 4-Channel Discrete Input Module is an AC input module designed for the Versamax system. This module interfaces AC input modules with the VersmMax compact processor module. The IC200MDL144 Input Module receives inputs signals from input devices such as pushbuttons, sensors, and switches in a 2-state format and it transmits these signals as 4 bits discrete-type input data to the CPU for processing. The IC200MDL144 Input Module is designed around the Versamax compact and modular blueprints that offer the users application flexibility to help reduce the engineering and application costs. The IC200MDL144 Input Module can be installed on a Versamax carrier base that has a snap-in capability, which helps to reduce additional wiring and supports hot swapping.

The IC200MDL144 Input Module has 4 discrete inputs that are individually isolated and can be either positive logic or sourcing inputs. The IC200MDL144 draws its power from the backplane power and does not support an external user power supply. The IC200MDL144 Input Module has an input rating of 240 Volts AC and a 0 to 264 Volts AC operating range at 47 to 63 Hertz. It has a maximum backplane current rating of 30 milliamps at 5.0 Volts and a maximum on-state current rating of 7.0 milliamps. The IC200MDL144 Input Module has 2000 Volts AC point to point isolation for 1 minute and 500 Volts AC continuous between the inputs and ground. The IC200MDL144 Input Module has 155 to 264 Volts AC of operating voltage in the on-state and 0 to 40 Volts AC of operating voltage in the off-state. The IC200MDL144 Input Module has 4 individually labeled front-panel LEDs that indicate each input point’s on/off status, and 1 backplane LED status indicator.
