The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module is a GE Fanuc 12/24 Volts DC Versamax Positive Logic Output Module that has 1 group of 16 sourcing type outputs. It features a rack mounting option, and a compact design with hot insertion facilities which helps the users to replace it easily without changing the field wiring. The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module has LEDs to indicate the status of each of the output points. There are 3 types of carriers available for easily installing or replacing the output module in a system without interrupting the operation. It has a configurable filter time, 0.2 milliseconds of maximum on response time, and 1.0 milliseconds of maximum off response time. It also provides an external power supply to the load side and it operates with backplane power.
The IC200MDL740 DC Positive Logic Output Module has one group of outputs with DC+ and DC- terminals. An external suppression circuit must be used with inductive loads at the output. This external suppression circuit can be connected across the actual load or to each output point which drives the inductive load.  It is recommended to use a shorting bar with 2 Amps of current carrying capacity with the B Terminal to add extra bused terminals. A wide range of carriers allows the users to install the right carrier without using any tools. These easy connection facilities reduce the training time and lifecycle costs necessary to use this output module. It also comes with configuration software to easily perform the hardware and network configurations. The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module is a universally distributed product that is designed for industrial and commercial automation as well as for industrial control applications.
