The IC200MDL744 Discrete Output Module is a GE Fanuc 24 Volts DC positive/negative logic output module which has 32 discrete outputs arranged in 2 groups. It offers 16 discrete outputs as well as a DC+ and DC- terminal in each group. The IC200MDL744 Discrete Output Module features sinking type outputs that connect the load to the negative side of the DC power supply. These negative outputs receive current from the load. It also provides backplane-powered status indicator LEDs. The backplane current consumption rating at 5 Volts is 140 milliamps maximum. This module doesn’t come with an internal fuse for protection. Each output channel has a status LED to indicate the status of the output.

The IC200MDL744 Discrete Output Module offers a green "FLD PWR" LED for indicating whether the field power is applied to the module, and an "OK" LED to indicate the presence of the backplane power. It also comes with 0.2 milliseconds of on response time and 1 millisecond of off response time. It is recommended to use an external suppression circuit when the inductive loads are connected to the output. The thermal derating of the module depends on several factors such as the ambient temperature, the voltage level, and the orientation of the module. It has 250 Volts AC of continuous user input to logic, user input to frame, and group to group isolation voltage. It has no point to point isolation. The IC200MDL744 Discrete Output Module needs an NIU or CPU in the Versamax PLC to perform intelligent processing for industrial applications.
