The IC200MDL930 is an Eight (8) channel output module that belongs to the VersaMax I/O platform, formerly by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP), currently under Emerson Automation. This module comes with individually isolated relay output channels in Normally Open (N.O.) or Form A contact position. The module’s built-in relay are of Fixed coil, moving armature type with relay contacts made of silver alloy. These contact outputs are applicable in energizing electrical loads operating at different voltage categories specifically, 0 to 125VDC and 0 to 265VAC at 47 to 63Hz AC voltage frequency. The IC200MDL930 contact outputs are essentially dry contact outputs. It requires an external supply voltage source to conduct the appropriate voltage to the connected electrical load. It may be used with resistive or conductive loads however, with conductive loads, external protection or suppression circuits such as fuse is recommended for installation. The current rating of the output contacts are minimum of 10mA per point; 2.0A for 5 to 265VAC, maximum; 2.0A for 5 to 30 VDC, maximum and 0.2A for 31 to 125 VDC, maximum. All current ratings are rated for resistive loads. In addition, the nominal external supply voltage ratings of the contact outputs are 5/24/125VDC and 120/240VAC. The IC200MDL930 has a maximum backplane current draw of 245 mA when all outputs energized. This module is provided with individual channel indicators to depict the energization state of each output channel. It also has a single module OK LED to indicate the active supply of backplane power received by the module.
