The mounted power source on a booster carrier supplies power to every I/O module that is located to the unit's right or up until the next booster power source in the same system. The DC or AC power source on the NIU or CPU and the power source that exists in the booster carrier should all use the equivalent external power supply. The GE Fanuc IC200PWB001 Power Supply Booster Carrier has 2 LEDs that are the "PWR" LED that displays the functionality status of the connected booster power supply and the "OK" LED that displays the functionality status of the NIU or CPU and the connected booster power supply.
The GE Fanuc IC200PWB001 Power Supply Booster Carrier should be appropriately mounted onto a 7.5 millimeters by 35 millimeters DIN rail. To ensure that the DIN rail offers EMC protection, it should be electrically grounded, and the finish should be a conductive corrosion-resistant finish.
