It features an infrared (IR) sensor with detection capabilities for methane concentrations from 0-100% LEL. For signal output, users can expect a 4-20 mA sink/source output along with an RS-485 Modbus RTU option, facilitating easy integration into existing monitoring systems. Relay outputs are also provided, with three terminals rated at 5A at 250 VAC that can be selected as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).

Constructed from epoxy-painted aluminum alloy (LM25), the enclosure offers durability and robust protection for the internal components. Conduit entry is made feasible through two openings of 3/4" NPT, enhancing installation options. Additionally, the detector boasts a response time (T90) of less than 30 seconds for methane, ensuring prompt detection in critical scenarios.
