The Honeywell SPXCDULNFX is an advanced detector for flammable gases, forming part of the Sensepoint XCD series. This product operates effectively at a voltage rating of 12 to 32 VDC, with a nominal supply of 24 VDC. Designed with a lightweight housing of 4.4 lbs, it offers a level of durability indicated by its IP66 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.

In terms of temperature operation, the device supports a wide range, functioning efficiently from -40°C to 65°C, making it versatile for different environments. It also allows for storage under varying conditions, specifically in temperatures from -25°C to 65°C. The sensor is sensitive to humidity, maintaining functionality in continuous environments between 20-90% relative humidity and intermittent exposures from 0-99% without condensation.

The housing is crafted from epoxy-painted LM25 aluminum alloy, enhancing durability and resistance. The maximum inrush current rated at 800 mA (when using 24 VDC) ensures the circuit can handle initial power demands. Output signal capabilities include a selectable 4-20 mA sink or source option, although it does not support Modbus communication. Each detector comes with relays rated for three outputs at 5A when operating at 250VAC; this includes two alarms along with one fault condition, all configured in a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) arrangement.
