The MS-IOM1710-0 is an Input/Output (I/O) module by Johnson Controls. It can operate within a range of 20-30 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz and ensures safety through Class 2 or Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV) compliance. Since it has a power consumption of 10 VA typical and 14 VA maximum, it can efficiently handle both Basic Output (BO) and Configurable Output loads. It performs seamlessly in diverse ambient conditions, with an operational temperature range of 0 to 50°C and a humidity tolerance of 10 to 90% RH noncondensing. The product offers user-friendly connectivity through various terminal options, including Screw terminals and 3-Position/4-Position Screw Terminal Pluggable Blocks. The Controller Addressing employs a DIP switch set from 4 to 127 while ensuring reserved addresses for specific purposes (1-3, 128-255). Communications are facilitated through the BACnet MS/TP protocol, utilizing a 3-wire FC Bus for device interaction. When used as an expansion to FEC, it uses a 4-wire SA Bus. The Analog Input and Analog Output functions ensure high precision with 16-bit resolution. The Analog Output operates within a range of ±200 mV in 0-10 VDC applications, providing accurate signal representation. Mounting the component is convenient, allowing installation on a flat surface using screws on three mounting clips or a single 35 mm DIN rail. The dimensions of 108 x 127 x 58 mm (Height x Width x Depth) accommodate various spatial requirements. The housing is constructed with durable plastic material (ABS + polycarbonate UL94 5VB), protecting against impacts and external factors.
