The KSD Series from KUKA comprises servo drive modules such as KSD 08, 16, 32, 48 and 64, each rated by maximum current in amperes. They integrate power output stages, current controllers, Interbus drive bus interfaces, motor current monitoring and short circuit protection, plus cooling and communication status features. These modules serve as integral drive units for KUKA robots and external axes in automation systems. They are widely used across industrial applications like welding, material handling, machine loading or unloading, and general robotic motion control.
