The E94AYCPM module by Lenze provides communication capabilities specifically designed for use with the 9400 Series servo drives. This unit operates over the PROFIBUS communication protocols, specifically DP-V0 and DP-V1, allowing for efficient data transfer during operation. It supports process data exchange of up to 32 words, with each word being comprised of 16 bits, in both incoming and outgoing directions.

To manage parameter data, the module employs DRIVECOM for DP-V0 and PROFIDrive for DP-V1, enabling detailed configuration and control of the servo systems. A key highlight of this communication module is its support for safety communication through the PROFIsafe protocol, requiring a connection with the SM301 safety module for enhanced operational safety.

Configuration of the station address can be performed either through DIP switches or by utilizing software, ensuring flexibility in setup procedures. Operating at baud rates between 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps, the module ensures robust performance across various communication requirements. For connectivity, a 9-pin Sub-D socket is available.
