Part number A1SY41, which was produced by Mitsubishi Electric, is a Melsec-series output module. This product is a flexible and effective output device compatible with different industrial control systems. It uses the photocoupler isolation technique for reliable signal transmission and noise immunity. The module is designed to operate within an operational load voltage range of 10.2 to 30 volts DC, with a peak voltage of 30 volts DC and a rated load voltage of 12/24 volts DC. The maximum load current that each of the 32 output points can sustain is 0.1 A, whereas the highest load current that a common terminal can support is 2 A. The module has a Zener diode surge suppressor that protects against voltage spikes and lengthens the life of the equipment. It has an outstanding reaction time with transitions from ON to OFF and OFF to ON requiring only 2 milliseconds or less for rated and resistance loads. The module also has an error indicator system that illuminates an LED when the fuse blows and sends a signal to the CPU for quick diagnosis. LEDs are also used to visibly display this product's operational state, making monitoring easier. The A1SY41 has a 40-pin external connection and is compatible with the connector/terminal block conversion modules A6TBXY36 and A6TBXY54. For simple installation, it also has an external wire connector. The module needs an external power source with a voltage of 12 or 24 VDC and uses 8 mA (TYP) of current for the standard terminals at that voltage. When all output points are turned on, the internal current consumption for 5 VDC is rated at 500 mA (TYP).
