The Mitsubishi A1SY42 is an I/O Module with 32 DC input points. It supports both DC12V and DC24V input voltages with a current consumption of 3mA for 12V and 7mA for 24V. The response time for the inputs is 10ms. The module includes positive pole sharing and a terminal station. The A1SY42 has 4 stations with 64 output points in total. It uses photocouplers as the insulation method and has a rated load voltage of 12/24VDC. The operating load voltage range is 10.2 to 30.4VDC, with a peak voltage of 30VDC. The leakage current at the OFF state is 0.1mA or less. Surge suppression is provided using Zener diodes. The common wiring method allows for 32 points/common, and the operation indicator shows an ON state (LED) with a switch-over option for 32 points. The module uses a 40-pin external connector, and the applicable wire size is 0.3mm². It comes with two external wiring connectors (soldering type) as accessories. The internal current consumption at 5VDC is 930mA (typical) when all points are ON. The A1SY42 has noise immunity of 500VAC and insulation withstands voltage of 500VAC. The response time for OFF-ON and ON-OFF states is 2ms or less (resistive load). It's important to note that the A1SY42 includes a fuse that protects the wiring between the A1SY42 and external devices from burning out in case of a short circuit in the external device. However, this fuse does not protect the internal components of the A1SY42, such as transistors and capacitors, from being destroyed in the event of a fault or short circuit within the module itself.
