The A38HB base unit was manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric as part of the MELSEC A series of programmable controller system components. This base unit was designed to be used as the main base unit in a MELSEC A programmable controller system. The A38HB main base unit can host a variety of modules in the MELSEC A programmable controller system, and it can be connected to an extension base unit in a large-scale MELSEC A programmable controller system. The A38HB main base unit can host a CPU, a power supply, I/O modules, adapter modules, network modules, and other types of system modules. It has different slots that are designed for hosting different types of modules securely. For example, it comes with a CPU slot that is designed for hosting a CPU module. This base unit is also compatible with a variety of I/O modules. The A38HB main base unit can host up to 3 Mitsubishi MELSEC A series A1ADP adapter modules at the same time.
