The Beijer E-710 from the E1000 series is designed for flexibility in user interaction. Operating on a 24 VDC power supply, it accepts input in the range of 20 to 30 volts and has a power draw of 600 mA. The device features an LCD that can display 256 colours and has dimensions of 115.2 mm in width and 86.4 mm in height. With the capability to display user-defined text and graphics, the graphic resolution is set at 320 x 240 pixels.

This interface provides visual feedback via 8 LED indicators in two colours, red and green. The memory is composed of Flash-RAM with a base capacity of 400 Kbytes, which can be expanded up to 4 or 8MB by using an optional PCMCIA card through the MAC-IFC-MC interface. There are also two interface slots available for connecting optional cards. For areas requiring frequent adjustments, the E-710 includes 8 assignable function keys that work with touch technology, allowing for customized controls at the user's discretion.
