The Mitsubishi E1100 is a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) created to meet the needs of human-machine communication in industrial applications. The E1100 allows for easy operator control because of its small size and user-friendly interface. With a maximum power consumption of 12 Watts when operating within a 20–30 V DC input voltage range, energy efficiency is guaranteed. A 3.15 AT internal DC fuse to protect this device is used. The E1100 has many communication connections, including two serial ports (RS-232 with support for RTS/CTS and RS-422/RS-485), one Ethernet port (1 x 10/100 Base-T with a shielded RJ45 connector), and one Ethernet port (1 x 10/100 Base-T). Moreover, it has two serial ports, each having a DSUB connector with a 9-pin or 25-pin configuration. The HMI uses a 10.4-inch diagonal TFT CCFL display with 800 × 600 pixels resolution to provide sharp, detailed graphics. The backlight is bright (350 cd/m2) and has a long lifetime (about 50,000 hours), providing good visibility in various lighting settings.
