Mitsubishi's Q64DA, categorized as an output module, integrates into the Melsec-Q series with functionality tailored for complex automation tasks. This module is capable of delivering four channels of analog output, accommodating diverse system requirements. It supports normal resolution ranges from -4096 to +4095, as well as high-resolution modes extending from -12288 to 12287 and -16384 to 16383.

Analog voltage is provided within a range of -10 to +10 V DC, with an external load resistance of 1 kΩ to 1 MΩ. Current outputs range from 0 to 20 mA DC, which applies when the external load is within 0 to 600 Ω. The voltage of the external power supply should be maintained between 22.85 and 28.8 V DC for optimal performance. The module also features protected output short functionality and offers a data conversion speed of 800 µs per channel.

For further protection and reliability, the absolute maximum output specifications are capped at ±12 V for voltage and 21 mA for current. The external power supply current is rated at 0.18 A, with a noted inrush current of 3.1 A (for 300 µs or less), ensuring that operational demands are met efficiently. The module’s interface includes an 18-point terminal block secured by M3 screws, simplifying installation and connections.

This module engages 16 I/O points in total, which are intelligently assigned, facilitating effective integration within larger systems. With an internal current consumption of 0.34 A at 5 V DC, it remains efficient in its operations. The external dimensions measure 98 mm in height, 27.4 mm in width, and 90 mm in depth, while this compact unit weighs a mere 0.19 kg, making it both lightweight and user-friendly for various applications.
