The QD62E module from Mitsubishi's Melsec-Q series is engineered as a high-speed counter module, facilitating rapid counting operations at a maximum speed of 200 kPPS. It comprises two channels, enabling efficient processing of counting tasks. The module occupies 16 intelligent I/O points, ensuring organized I/O management in complex applications.

Count input signals are versatile, accommodating 1-phase (both single and multiple) and 2-phase configurations. They support count input levels of 5, 12, and 24 V DC, with a signal current of 2 to 5 mA. The counting range extends across 32-bit signed binary values, from -2147483648 to 2147483647, allowing high precision in counting applications.

The unit also provides a coincidence output capability with a comparison range that matches the 32-bit signed binary values used in counting. External outputs consist of transistor (sinking type) outputs, delivering two points per channel and capable of handling 12/24 V DC. Outputs are rated at 0.5 A per point and have a total common output of 2 A.

With an internal current consumption of 0.33 A at 5 V DC, this module operates efficiently, weighing in at only 0.11 kg, contributing to reduced system load. Designed to function as an UP/DOWN preset counter and with a ring counter capability, the QD62E serves various industrial automation and control scenarios.
