It supports optical fiber communication through all-plastic optical fiber (APF) and plastic-clad fiber (PCF), ensuring effective data transfer over significant distances. The optical fiber can transmit up to 800 meters, allowing flexible configuration in extensive environments.

This adapter accommodates optical connections as well as RS-422 and RS-232C interfaces. The RS-232C interface supports a maximum transmission distance of 15 meters, which is suitable for shorter connections, while RS-422 can reach up to 500 meters, providing a robust alternative for longer runs.

The device's power supply requirements include 110-120 VAC or 220-240 VAC, with an operating voltage range between 94-132 VAC and 187-264 VAC. It consumes a maximum of 10 VA during operation, which is efficient for its function. A built-in termination resistance of 220 Ω can be toggled on or off, making the setup adaptable based on specific needs.

Regarding the operating environment, the link adapter is rated to function between -10°C and 55°C, ensuring resilience in various conditions. However, it does not support backup power options.
