C200H-LK202

The C200H-LK202 unit is a Host Link Unit that was manufactured by Omron Automation and Safety in the SYSMAC C product series. This Host Link module is designed for rack mounting or base mounting in an Omron SYSMAC C series programmable controller system. The C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit uses an RS-422 port for making connections. The C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit can be used to connect a host computer to the Omron SYSMAC C series programmable controller system. Through the C200H-LK202 unit, the host computer can control communication between the programmable controller system and the system that it controls. The host computer can also monitor the data areas and the operating status of the programmable controller system through the C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit. Up to 32 programmable controller systems can be connected to a host computer, and each programmable controller system requires its own Host Link unit, like the C200H-LK202 unit. Additionally, a single programmable controller system can host one rack-mounting Host Link Unit, like the C200H-LK202 unit, and one CPU–mounting Host Link Unit in applications that require multiple Host Link units. The C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit has rotary switches that the users can set. If the SW1 rotary switch is set to “0,” the C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit is set as “Unit No. x 10.” If the SW2 rotary switch is set to “0,” the Host Link Unit is set as “Unit No. x 1.” If the SW3 rotary switch is set to “6,” the C200H-LK202 Host Link Unit will support a transmission speed of 19.2 Kbps. If the SW4 rotary switch is set to “2,” the Host Link Unit can support 7-bit data lengths with 2 stop bits.
