The C200HE-CPU42 is a programmable controller designed for industrial automation applications by Omron. It has CE, CSA, N, and UL approval agency certifications. It has a memory size of 8K words, allowing efficient program storage and execution. The user memory (UM) offers 3.2K words, the Normal DM provides 6,144 words, the Fixed DM offers 512 words, and the expansion DM supports up to 3,000 words. Furthermore, the extended Data Memory (EM) provides 6,144 words, offering space for data storage and manipulation. The C200HE-CPU42 supports a wide operating temperature range from 0°C to 55°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It can be operated with 100 ~ 120/200 ~ 240VAC or 24VDC with flexible power supply options, providing versatility in power source selection. This controller features battery backup functionality, ensuring data retention during power interruptions. The C200HE-CPU42 is part of the C200HX/HG/HE CPU Rack, which consists of three components: the CPU Backplane, the CPU Unit, and other Units such as I/O Units and Special I/O Units. This modular design allows for easy customization and expansion of the control system by adding more Racks and Units. Additionally, the controller supports expansion I/O Racks, which can be connected in series to the CPU Rack. Each expansion I/O Rack provides additional slots for mounting other Units.
