The Omron CJ1W-DRM21 DeviceNet module is part of the CJ series of DeviceNet modules, and it serves as a CPU Bus unit that is applicable for applications with NJ series CPU units. It can be mounted in CPU racks or Expansion racks, and it supports unit numbers from 0 to F. The CJ1W-DRM21 module is a communication module, and it supports both DeviceNet master and DeviceNet slave communication options. For fixed allocations, a maximum of 3 DeviceNet master units or 3 DeviceNet slave units can be mounted. However, for user-set allocations, up to 16 master units or slave units can be accommodated. For high-speed communications, trunk lines up to 100 m long can operate at 500 kbit/s.
