An Interrupt Input Unit that is designed for use in the CJ I/O Bus system is provided by Omron in the form of the CJ1W-INT01. It is a Basic I/O Unit of the Digital I/O type, and as such, it has 16 digital inputs within 1 common that are capable of supporting PNP/NPN setups in addition to interrupts. The performance of the module is guaranteed to be consistent and dependable as long as it runs within the permissible input voltage range of 20.4 to 26.4 V and a nominal value of 24 VDC. The input current is valued at 7 mA. The input pulse width for the ON time is 0.05 ms maximum and the OFF time is 0.5 ms maximum. The external connection for the input unit is a removable terminal block and the maximum mountable units are 2 per unit. The outputs of the module do not include short-circuit protection; however, the module does feature a secure I/O connection method that uses screws. During the installation process as well as maintenance, it is possible to detach the single I/O connector for extra convenience. This is in contrast to the fact that it does not have any safety functions. The product has dimensions of 89 millimeters in depth, 31 millimeters in breadth, and 90 millimeters in height, and its design is both compact and long-lasting.
