The Omron SYSMAC CPM2C series CPM2C-MAD11 expansion module is an analog I/O unit that provides versatile analog signal conversion and processing capabilities to a programmable controller. The CPM2C-MAD11 module supports conversion time ratings of 2 ms per point or 6 ms for all of the analog I/O points. To ensure signal integrity, the CPM2C-MAD11 module employs photocoupler isolation between the analog I/O and internal circuits. However, the individual analog I/O are not isolated. The CPM2C-MAD11 module’s power consumption rating is 3.5 W, and its maximum weight is 0.2 kg. This module features 2 inputs with 2 allocated words. It supports various input signal ranges, including ranges of 0 to 5 V, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, and -10 to 10 V for voltage signals, and ranges of 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA for current signals. The maximum input ratings are +/-15 V for voltage I/O and +/-30 mA for current I/O. The external input impedance ratings include 1 megohm minimum for voltage I/O and 250 ohms for current I/O.
