The Omron CV500-MC421 Motion Control Module is designed to enhance the capabilities of the Omron CV500 Series, offering precise control over four axes of motion. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and utilizes a D-Sub termination style, directly mounting onto the backplane for seamless integration. Weighing 1.4 lbs (635 g), it is not suitable for peak reflow processes and contains lead, rendering it non-compliant with RoHS regulations. This module is specifically intended for use with the Personal Computer Unit and provides 2MB of RAM disk board memory. It features a PC Card Interface Board compatible with PCMCIA 2.1 Type I and II cards. It is designed exclusively for the Personal Computer Unit and supports the Hard Disk Uni, accommodating an 80-MB hard disk to expand storage capabilities. The module facilitates the connection of two Hard Disk Units via the provided Connecting Cable. The Power Feeder Unit is also available to support the optical Omron SYSMAC LINK Unit. The module is compatible with Plastic Optical Fiber Cables for reliable communication, with lengths ranging from 5 to 100 meters in increments of 5 meters or 200 or 500 meters. Optical Connector A, provided in a set of 2 (brown), supports plastic optical fiber cables up to 10 meters long. Likewise, Optical Connector B, available in a set of 2 (black), is suitable for plastic optical fiber cables ranging from 8 to 20 meters long. Each Plastic Optical Fiber Cable is 1 meter long and features optical connector A at both ends.
