Omron's DRT1-ID16-1 is a remote terminal module intended for application in automation environments. With each input terminal, the maximum ON voltage is rated at 15 VDC, which is measured against G in PNP configurations. Conversely, the OFF voltage is limited to 5 VDC when referenced to V. The module is capable of handling an input current of up to 10 mA per point, which enables compatibility with various devices.

Operational timing characteristics include a maximum ON delay of 1.5 milliseconds and an OFF delay that also does not exceed 1.5 milliseconds. Furthermore, during OFF conditions, the residual current is capped at 1 mA, ensuring minimal leakage. The residual voltage for each connection is specified to remain under 1.2 V, promoting energy efficiency and safety during operation.

For user feedback, yellow LED indicators are integrated into the design, providing a clear visual signal regarding the input status. The rated output current for each point stands at 0.3 A, a specification that supports diverse automation configurations. To isolate signals effectively, the module utilizes a photocoupler method, which adds an essential layer of protection between input and output circuits.
