Omron's DRT2-ID08 functions as an 8-point input terminal, suitable for various control systems. It is designed to receive signals for both NPN and PNP transistor inputs. Activation occurs at a minimum input voltage of 15 VDC, while the OFF state can register up to a maximum of 5 VDC.

Each terminal can handle a current input of up to 6.0 mA when used at 24 VDC and 3.0 mA when supplied at 17 VDC. The OFF current should not exceed 1.0 mA, ensuring minimal drain during inactive states. The terminals are designed for easy installation on a DIN rail, facilitating efficient space management in control panels.

With an IP20 protection rating, the terminal block is suitable for indoor use in environments without severe dust or moisture exposure. It operates effectively across a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, making it adaptable to various conditions in industrial settings. The connection method utilizes screw terminals for reliable wiring, accommodating diverse installation needs.
